This position will have dual reporting duties to the Director of TAS and Director of Sales in our Denver market. This is a critical role in our continued efforts to mature and grow our TAS practice. In this role, you will work closely with Leadership, Account Executives, Solution Advisors, and Engineering teams to grow our recurring margin at CompuNet.

Position Summary

An Enterprise Advisor serves as a strategic partner to clients, guiding them through the complex landscape of technology solutions and business communications. Drawing from deep industry knowledge and leveraging a wide range of resources, the Enterprise Advisor identifies opportunities across all technical domains, assesses challenges, and partners with Solution Advisors to recommend tailored solutions that align with clients’ goals. This role requires a consultative approach, focusing on building long-term relationships, understanding evolving technology trends, and acting as an advocate for the client's best interests.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to uncover business needs, conducting technology assessments, and presenting comprehensive options that drive innovation and efficiency. The Enterprise Advisor stays abreast of emerging technologies, ensuring clients have awareness and access to the most effective and secure solutions available. In addition, they assist in solution and vendor selection, project implementation, and ongoing support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Technology Advisors Services Enterprise Advisor acts as a customer-facing, outcome-oriented advisor, leading discovery to understand business drivers, constraints, and success criteria. They serve as the customer’s advocate through evaluation and selection, using marketplace/distributor resources to surface best-fit suppliers and solutions rather than promoting a single OEM. They orchestrate a “many-to-one” experience by bringing the right experts, pricing/quoting tools, and provider comparisons to the customer at the right time in the buying journey. They also build long-term trust through transparency, responsiveness, and post-sale follow through, ensuring solutions are adopted, optimized, and renewed successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discovery & business alignment
    • Facilitate structured discovery with stakeholders to capture goals, pain points, current-state environment, timelines, compliance needs, and budget parameters
    • Work with Solution Advisors, Account Executives and Engineering to define requirements, decision criteria, and measurable outcomes
  • Solution evaluation & sourcing
    • Work with Solution Advisors and the Engineering team to identify best-fit providers and solution architectures across domains (connectivity, Advanced Networking, Cloud, Security, UCaaS/CCaaS, Data Center/Colocation, Managed Services) using distributor and marketplace ecosystems
    • Communicate provider comparisons and options analysis, including tradeoffs, differentiators, prerequisites, and implementation considerations
    • In concert with Solution Advisors, coordinate with supplier teams and distributor resources (sales engineering, specialists, and partner support) to validate designs and accelerate deal cycles
  • Quoting, contracting, and procurement support
    • Manage the engagement workflow: request pricing, validate quotes, confirm terms, and ensure proposal accuracy and completeness
    • Guide customers through procurement steps and stakeholder approvals, ensuring clarity on scope, SLAs, and responsibilities
  • Implementation coordination & lifecycle success
    • Serve as the customer’s point of coordination through order placement, implementation planning, cutover readiness, and escalation management
    • Ensure post-sale follow-up, adoption, and optimization; identify expansion opportunities and renewal risks early
  • Practice and partner management
    • Maintain current knowledge of supplier portfolios, solution categories, and market changes
    • Utilize partner platforms and resources (training, tools, analytics, order/commission visibility) to improve customer outcomes and advisor efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in consultative technology sales/advisory, solutions engineering, customer success, or channel/distributor ecosystems
  • Working knowledge of one or more domains: UCaaS/CCaaS, Connectivity, Advanced Networking, Cloud marketplaces/subscription commerce, Cybersecurity, Data Center/Colocation, and Managed Services
  • Experience using partner/distributor tools for provider comparisons, quoting, lifecycle tracking, and portfolio management
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and communicate status with precision
  • Excellent oral and written communication, thought leadership, and mentorship skills are required
  • Strong negotiation skills and leadership acumen
  • Ability to travel when required

Desired Skills & Abilities

Successful candidates excel in communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. They demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, maintain strong industry relationships, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Prior experience in technology consulting, solution selling, or channel partnerships is highly desirable.

  • Trust-building mindset: high integrity, transparent communication, and a customer-advocate approach (vendor-neutral, outcomes-first)
  • Consultative discovery: strong questioning, active listening, and the ability to translate business needs into technology requirements
  • Clarity in complexity: can simplify tradeoffs across multiple providers and solution paths without overselling
  • Orchestration skills: comfortable coordinating distributors, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and SMEs to deliver a cohesive customer experience
  • Commercial and operational discipline: detail-oriented with quotes/terms, organized pipeline management, and consistent follow-through
  • Strong communication: executive-ready writing and presentation skills; able to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Learning agility: proactive about training/certifications; stays current across cloud, data center, colocation, connectivity, collaboration, security, and marketplace routes-to-market
  • Resilience and ownership: persistent, accountable, and calm under time pressure, especially during escalations and cutovers

Travel Expectations

  • Up to 25 - 30% or as needed. Travel is expected to facilitate the execution of CompuNet’s strategy and vision with vendors, customers, and colleagues

Success Measures

  • Recurring margin growth: Contributes to measurable growth in TAS-related recurring margin by identifying, advancing, and closing qualified opportunities across connectivity, cloud, security, collaboration, data center/colocation, and managed services
  • Customer discovery and solution alignment: Consistently leads structured discovery that captures business drivers, technical requirements, decision criteria, budget parameters, and measurable outcomes before solution recommendations are presented
  • Opportunity execution and deal velocity: Maintains accurate opportunity status, coordinates quoting and provider comparisons, removes barriers quickly, and helps accelerate qualified opportunities through evaluation, approval, contracting, and order placement
  • Stakeholder and partner orchestration: Effectively coordinates Solution Advisors, Account Executives, Engineering, distributors, and supplier resources to deliver a cohesive, vendor-neutral customer experience
  • Lifecycle success and expansion: Demonstrates strong post-sale follow-through by supporting implementation readiness, monitoring adoption and renewal risks, and identifying expansion opportunities that improve customer outcomes
