At Computacenter, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're trusted by some of the world's largest organisations to help them source, transform and manage their technology, and our technical specialists play a critical role in delivering that success.

We're looking for an experienced Third Line Analyst to join our team supporting a highly secure, enterprise-scale customer environment in Derby. Working across a broad infrastructure estate, you'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining critical services, resolving complex technical issues and delivering continuous improvements.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse technology stack, combining operational support with project delivery, while working alongside experienced infrastructure specialists in a security-focused environment.

What you'll do

As a Third Line Analyst, you'll provide advanced technical support across Windows infrastructure technologies, taking ownership of complex incidents, problems and technical changes.

You'll work closely with customers, technical specialists and service teams to ensure the delivery of secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert third-line support across enterprise Windows environments.
  • Investigating and resolving complex incidents and problems, identifying both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.
  • Designing, implementing and supporting infrastructure solutions across Windows platforms.
  • Supporting infrastructure projects, upgrades and technical change activities.
  • Managing workloads effectively to deliver against agreed SLAs and operational priorities.
  • Building strong working relationships with customers, project teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Reviewing services and identifying opportunities to improve reliability, performance and user experience.
  • Maintaining technical documentation and sharing knowledge across the wider team.
  • Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota and supporting critical service restoration activities when required.

What you'll need

We're looking for a technically strong infrastructure professional with experience supporting complex enterprise environments.

You'll have a passion for technology, excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider support team.

Experience in the following areas will be particularly valuable:

  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
  • Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Azure AD technologies, including Azure AD Connect, ADFS and Single Sign-On.
  • Core Windows infrastructure technologies, including failover clustering.
  • VMware and virtualisation platforms.
  • Exchange and Microsoft collaboration technologies.
  • SCCM, endpoint management and software deployment technologies.
  • PKI, certificate management and identity management solutions.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Infrastructure monitoring, security and endpoint protection technologies.
  • Networking fundamentals, including routing, firewalls, LAN and WAN technologies.

You'll also bring:

  • SC clearance (or be willing and eligible to undertake).
  • Experience of working in a third line role in a managed services environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to make sound technical decisions and work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
