We are currently looking to hire a Regional Security Manager to join our team embedded with our client in Pune, India!

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune, India. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, though hours are based on position needs. Given the role's support of significant incidents and crisis events, the Regional Security Manager is expected to provide reasonable after-hours support for time-sensitive security matters when required. Additional evening and weekend work may be needed as job duties demand, in accordance with applicable local labor regulations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Regional Security Manager - India is the senior Global Security advisor for all client locations in India. The embedded position reports directly to the Head of Global Security as part of the Global Security function, not through the Asia regional organization, and is expected to operate with a high degree of independence.

The position advises on and coordinates the application of the Global Security risk-driven strategy across India. It identifies and assesses vulnerabilities, reviews site compliance with corporate security policies and standards, and recommends and tracks mitigation plans. The role serves as a trusted advisor and works closely with the other Regional Security Managers and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to analyze intelligence and geopolitical developments that could affect client operations in India and globally.

This is an advisory, review, coordination, and reporting role. It is primarily office-based with regular travel to sites in India. The position does not perform guarding, close protection, armed duties, or the supervision of security personnel.

The Regional Security Manager works under the direction of the Head of Global Security and in close coordination with other stakeholders and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The position is expected to understand the company's risk-driven security strategy and translate regional and global direction into practical execution at the site level.

This is an embedded position within Concentric's Embedded Services program. The role operates under the direction and priorities established by the client's Head of Global Security leadership, while Concentric serves as the employer and manages employment matters such as payroll, benefits, time off, and HR policies.

ROLE SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

This pivotal management role serves as the primary Global Security advisor and point of contact for security matters and risk-driven strategy across locations in India, reporting directly to the Head of Global Security.

The Employee's role is limited to advisory, coordination, review and reporting for the client's internal security program only. The Employee shall not: (a) protect or guard any person or property, perform guarding, watch-and-ward, patrol, access-control or close-protection duties, or form part of, lead or be positioned as part of any protective detail; (b) carry or handle arms, use force, or detain, restrain or search anyone; (c) deploy, direct, instruct, roster, discipline, train, supervise or control any security guards (provider's or client's), directly or through others, or issue, approve or amend post orders, rosters or deployment plans; or (d) act or hold out as a security guard or supervisor, including by uniform or guard identity card.

The Employee may support events and incidents only through planning, advance checks, logistics, information-gathering, escalation and liaison with police, emergency services and providers. Guarding and protection shall be performed solely by agencies holding a valid license under the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005, the client's own direct employees, or public authorities.
