Concentrix is an American customer experience and business services company founded in 1983 and headquartered in Newark, California. It designs and runs customer support, sales, collections and back-office operations on behalf of more than two thousand client brands, employing hundreds of thousands of people across some seventy countries in dozens of languages. Listed on Nasdaq and enlarged by the 2023 acquisition of the French group Webhelp, the company has pushed beyond traditional call-centre outsourcing into experience design, automation and AI agents that deflect routine contacts before a human is needed.

Job Title:

Lead Project Manager - Digital Technology

Job Description

Concentrix is looking for a Lead Project Manager to run delivery of a Planning Intelligence Platform engagement for a leading international building products manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end digital transformation programs and business change initiatives in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

This is a delivery focused role, responsible for driving program success across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering outstanding client and stakeholder outcomes. Lead Project Managers are assigned to larger and more complex engagements, often including multiple concurrent workstreams for the same client that together form a programme of work. Lead PMs provide governance and stability across all workstreams - sometimes running phases sequentially, sometimes overlapping them to hit a shared deadline - while potentially managing their own workstream directly..

Who We Are

Concentrix is the experience design and engineering team of Concentrix, a leading global solutions company that reimagines everything CX through strategy, talent and technology. We combine human-centred design, data and technology to accelerate CX transformation at scale. For more information, visit concentrix.com or connect with us on LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Management: Take ownership of a key client account, working closely with senior stakeholders to lead delivery of a programme of work, and establishing an appropriate layer of governance with partners and clients.

  • Concurrent Workstream Delivery: Where a programme has multiple workstreams, manage deliberate overlap between them - starting one workstream as soon as the one before it produces enough to work from - to hit shared deadlines without treating every plan as strictly sequential.

  • Project Leadership: Steer projects to successful outcomes for clients, their customers and Concentrix by providing leadership, direction and focus to project team members and clients alike.

  • Project Delivery: Work with the project team to ensure successful delivery end to end, from discovery through to delivery, monitoring scope and progress throughout and ensuring contractual obligations and sign-off criteria are met.

  • Agile Consulting: Provide coaching, mentoring and consulting for internal team members and clients on agile mindset, best practices and methodologies.

  • Structured Technology & Vendor Governance: Where an engagement involves evaluating technology or vendor options, keep the process honest - score options against the client's own ranked criteria (e.g. a balanced scorecard) and capture the reasoning in a decision register.

  • Project Scheduling: Document and manage all identified milestones, tasks and dependencies required to deliver the project, updating the plan as things change.

  • Project Budgets: Manage project effort burndowns and forecasts, balanced with utilisation and billability reporting.

  • Project Scope: Work with the team to define requirements and monitor progress, staying alert to contractual obligations and gatekeeping output against Concentrix standards.

  • Project Reporting: Provide timely updates to team members and stakeholders - stand-ups, status reports and budget tracking - with an explicit confidence level on early-stage artefacts, tightening as the engagement progresses. Communicate invoice-impacting changes to Finance.

  • Delivery Performance Reporting: Track and monitor progress and performance across projects and programmes, using agile metrics for visibility and aligned expectations.

  • Project Initiation & Closure: Complete initiation and closure activities, including handover to Support where relevant, profitability analysis with Finance, handover to Sales, and sharing lessons learned.

  • Facilitation: Proactively schedule, plan and facilitate meaningful meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Resourcing: Ensure the right team members are assigned to all projects, while staying flexible to the broader needs of Concentrix.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain a professional working relationship with clients and their stakeholders, holding them accountable as you would your own project team.

  • Risk Management: Identify risks and issues that threaten project success and proactively manage them, escalating when appropriate.

  • Change Management: Carefully manage deviations from commercial agreements, working with Sales to issue change requests.

  • Mentoring & Training: Support the wider organisation in improving delivery standards and upskilling in project delivery methodologies.

  • Team & Line Management: Manage Project Management team members who report to you, supporting their goals and career progression.

  • Presales: Participate in and facilitate estimation sessions, coordinate estimate gathering with the delivery team and BDM, and ensure timely collation of estimates into the Commercial Review Pack and SOWs.

  • Process Improvement: Explore better ways of delivering projects, sharing knowledge with local and global peers and improving Project Management team processes.

Additional Skills

In addition to the key responsibilities, Lead Project Managers are expected to demonstrate proficiency in two or more of the following:

  • Requirements Analysis: Translate project scope into meaningful backlog items; liaise with SMEs to document requirements and determine priority, impact and value.

  • Analytics: Evaluate data from analytics tools and identify opportunities for it to inform decision-making.

  • Usability Research & Testing: Support the Experience Design team in user interviews and research, with strong note-taking and observation skills.

  • Strategy: Support product vision, roadmap and business case development, including presenting to a board-level audience.

  • Account Management: Support the Sales team in recognising and developing new opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years' experience in project or delivery management, ideally including enterprise clients across a range of industries.

  • Experience running multi-workstream engagements, including phases that overlap rather than run strictly sequentially.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, including engagements that start with discovery rather than a fixed spec.

  • Experience managing phased commercial structures (separately priced and approved phases) is a plus.

  • Exposure to structured, vendor-neutral technology evaluation (e.g. balanced scorecards, decision registers) is a plus, not a requirement.
