Experience Designer

ROLE/PURPOSE

Ensures cohesive, scalable, and high-quality digital experiences across all channels by leading UI and UX disciplines, standards, and consistency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, own, and evolve the design system end-to-end - foundations, design tokens, UI components, patterns, and templates
• Define UX standards for journeys, usability, and accessibility
• Review and approve UI/UX outputs across all channel initiatives
• Balance brand consistency across channels and products
• Coach designers and ensure reusable, scalable design practices
• Champion mobile web UX best practices - responsive/adaptive layouts, touch-first interaction patterns, and performance-conscious design across devices
• Liaise with commercial and other stakeholders to incorporate their business goals in the experience design flows

• Design system adoption rate
• Reduction in rework or inconsistencies
• Accessibility compliance scores
• Mobile web usability and performance benchmarks (load speed, responsiveness, task completion on mobile)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, IT, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, including at least 2-3 years in a senior or lead role
• Proven track record leading the design of digital products, websites, and mobile applications from concept to launch
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and cross-functional teams alongside product, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems (component libraries, design tokens, and documentation) using tools such as Figma
• Strong command of mobile web design best practices, including responsive and adaptive design, performance optimization, and touch interaction patterns
• Ability to translate business goals into data-driven design decisions, using analytics, user research, and A/B testing

Preferred

• Master's degree in a related field
• Experience building or working within design-to-code frameworks (for example, design tokens synced to production code, or code-first component libraries)
