What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Software Engineer within our Epyx division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business.

In this role, you will join us on a fantastic journey and help us build great applications and services across the r2cOnline and 1link product ecosystem.

You will collaborate closely with other Software Engineers and Designers across multiple platforms and technologies to craft an application ecosystem that is consistent, highly usable, reliable, and performant. You will also be part of our local communities of practice, helping to identify new technologies that could support our competitive advantage in the dynamic payments industry.

The position reports to the Engineering Manager.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Design, implement, test and deploy high quality software that meets agreed product and operational needs.

• Break down complex problems into clear, maintainable solutions, working within established architectural boundaries and contributing practical improvements where needed.

• Build reusable backend components and well documented interfaces that make products easier to integrate and evolve.

• Use test driven and behaviour driven development practices where appropriate, with a focus on automated testing and reliable delivery.

• Collaborate in an agile team to plan, estimate, refine and deliver work in line with business priorities.

• Work with Product Owners to assess solution options, explain technical trade offs and identify practical approaches.

• Review code, share constructive feedback and support less experienced engineers through pairing, coaching and day to day technical guidance.

• Build and improve CI CD pipelines, contributing to secure, repeatable build, deployment, monitoring and operational support of services.

• Contribute to the engineering community by sharing knowledge, learning new tools and improving team practices.

• Contribute to cloud platform engineering or agentic AI solutions where they provide a clear, measurable value.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Demonstrable software development experience in a SaaS oriented environment.

• Strong practical backend experience building applications with C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core, including REST and SOAP services delivered through Web API.

• Some front end development experience using React, JavaScript ES6, HTML and CSS.

• Working knowledge of SQL Server and designing effective approaches for storing and presenting complex data.

• Experience working in agile delivery teams and using source control, code review and CI CD practices.

• Understanding of DevOps principles and their role in reliable, repeatable software delivery.

• Practical experience in one or more of cloud platform engineering, CI CD engineering or agentic AI solutions. Experience with Azure and exposure to AWS native services is beneficial.

• Ability to communicate technical issues and options clearly to colleagues with different levels of technical knowledge.

• A constructive approach to problem solving, ownership and continuous improvement.
