  • Work closely with Product Managers, Delivery Managers and engineering colleagues to deliver sprint commitments and strengthen engineering practices.
  • Be devoted to the FCA principle of Consumer Duty, ensuring we are driving good customer outcomes across all aspects of services that have the potential to impact our customers.

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience developing production applications using technologies such as Python, .NET, React, SQL, and AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Strong experience with React or comparable modern frontend frameworks, TypeScript and modern UI development practices.
  • Practical experience with microservices, distributed systems, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps ways of working.
  • Experience supporting production systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and improving system reliability and performance.
  • Strong understanding of secure-by-design and compliance-by-design development, particularly when handling customer data.
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Delivery and Engineering teams while contributing to coding standards and continuous improvement.
