Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite from Day 1 & F2F Required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with extensive experience in Java development, Azure, and Telecom knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Automation, which is a deal breaker for this role. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that support our telecom applications. This position requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to delivering high quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.

Implement Azure Automation solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices.

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills:

5+ years of experience in Java development.

Strong expertise in Azure Automation.

Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.

Experience with cloud based architectures and services, particularly Azure.

Familiarity with Telecom systems and protocols.

Proficient in version control systems, preferably Git.

Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.

Understanding of security best practices in API development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7+ Years of relevant work experience in software development.

Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
