Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise performance on high-volume automated manufacturing lines.
• Monitor line performance and resolve downtime, cycle time and yield issues.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Make process adjustments to improve efficiency, output and reliability.
• Repair and replace automation components including sensors, vision systems and robotics.
• Support equipment setup, calibration and technical changeovers.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence.

Essential Requirements

• NFQ Level 6 qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hands-on technical or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical or automation systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work a 28-day shift pattern.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
