Full Stack Developer (Angular + Java)

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular) to join our engineering team and contribute to building enterprise-grade applications in the Supply Chain Finance domain. You will work on scalable, secure, and high-performance applications supporting solutions such as invoice discounting, invoice factoring, and working capital management for enterprise customers. While hands-on experience with Java and Angular is important, we place strong emphasis on learning ability, communication, problem-solving, and ownership. Candidates with the right attitude and strong fundamentals will be considered even if they require some mentoring or upskilling in specific areas.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular.
• Build, integrate, and consume REST APIs connecting frontend applications with backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, manage timelines effectively, and deliver with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to the design and development of reliable enterprise applications.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Angular for frontend development.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, SQL databases, and web technologies.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in product-based companies is strongly preferred.
• Candidates from product engineering organisations such as Thoughtworks or similar environments are highly valued.
• Exposure to FinTech, Banking, Supply Chain Finance, or Financial Services is a plus.
• Experience developing enterprise applications is advantageous.
• Exposure to microservices architecture is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and take ownership of deliverables.
