We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about dishes, ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
• Work as a team with hosts, kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to keep service smooth, especially during busy periods and buffets.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders (including modifications) and enter them correctly into the POS system.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations strictly.
• Perform opening, running, and closing side work (stocking, setting tables, general cleanliness).
• Handle guest complaints or concerns politely and escalate to management when needed.
• Promote daily specials and suggest additional items (upselling) where appropriate.
• reet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Communicate special requests, dietary needs, and any issues clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain a clean, tidy dining area at all times.
• Check on guests regularly during their meal, offer refills, and ensure satisfaction.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, professionally, and in line with the restaurant’s service standards.
