Job Description:

What It Means to Be a Consultant at Crowe

Consulting is a dynamic business focused on solving problems for our clients and serving our core markets through innovative solutions. As technology and AI continue to reshape the consulting landscape, we are looking for individuals who are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. At Crowe, consultants are expected to build both technical and transferable skills, think critically, and use technology to solve real business problems. In this role, you will continuously learn, collaborate across teams, and explore how tools, including emerging AI capabilities, can improve efficiency, insights, and client outcomes.

As you grow, you’ll also begin to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to account strategy, and support the delivery of high-impact work. Developing a sense of account leadership, including understanding client needs, ensuring delivery excellence, and building trusted partnerships, is part of what sets successful consultants apart.

Success in this role comes from a growth mindset, strong communication skills, advanced critical thinking, and the ability to navigate new challenges with confidence.

As a MSFT AI Business Solutions Implementation Consultant team member in Crowe’s Consulting Practice, your role will be focused on helping clients resolve business needs to improve operating performance, use of technology, delivery of customer experiences and/or management decision making. You will define, craft, develop and implement business and technology solutions based on analysis of current practices, processes, technologies and data in comparison to leading industry practices, technologies and benchmarks.

Projects in this role could include business process consulting/reengineering, organizational change management, project management support, technology assessments, financial analysis, municipal advisory, data analysis, and functional assistance implementing new technology systems that enable clients to improve the performance of their organizations. Typical project responsibilities could include process mapping, data and requirements gathering and analysis, client meeting facilitation support, preparing and supporting presentations, project management support, change management, business process analysis, strategic planning, and financial analysis. Projects in this role could also be structured around the finance and regulatory compliance needs of state and local governmental organizations in the areas of public finance (municipal advisory, budgeting & forecasting, financial management, arbitrage rebate liability calculations and verification services) or rate and feasibility studies.

Your career could launch in one of the following areas:

Manufacturing and Distribution

You will work with clients in the manufacturing industry to help transform their business requirements into a state-of-the-art technology solution that will enable their organization to exploit new opportunities, engage better with their customers and compete globally in the dynamic “Cloud-First” era. New hires will assist in software implementation through requirements gathering, configuration, testing, rollout and training. Our technology solutions help support business functions such as finance, operations, risk management and compliance.

Public Sector

You will have the opportunity to work with clients in a wide variety of state and local government agencies to help solve problems. This includes helping them determine their needs or assisting them in defining, designing, developing and implementing solutions that provide critical value to their organization.

At Crowe, we empower you to take risks, to challenge yourself in specialized areas of consulting & technology, and to generate solutions that impact the firm and your professional growth. Crowe cultivates a creative company culture where you will have the opportunity to share your ideas and knowledge with clients from your very first day with the firm.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause and resolve issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively simplify and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively across skillsets and geographies. Strong interpersonal skills and team building
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously upskill

Education:

We’re looking for college junior students who are pursuing degrees in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain, Public Policy/Public Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, or a related field, and are eager to launch a career in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Preferred areas of study include:

  • Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering
  • Economics, Public Policy, or Public Finance
  • Operations Management or Supply Chain
  • Public & Environmental Affairs
  • Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
  • Information Technology or Management Information Systems
