We are looking for a motivated **HR Trainee** to support our People and Operations team and gain practical experience across recruitment, employee administration, and day-to-day HR activities.
Your Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the People and Operations Lead, you will:
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including preparing documents and coordinating checklists.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
- Help prepare employment letters, HR correspondence, and other employee documentation.
- Assist with attendance tracking, leave records, and the preparation of payroll inputs.
- Support the implementation and communication of company policies and procedures.
- Prepare basic HR reports and contribute to HR and administrative projects.
- Handle employee and candidate information with care, discretion, and confidentiality.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- A strong interest in HR and a willingness to learn.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
- A professional attitude, initiative, and a collaborative approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and French
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Discretion and respect for confidential information.
Previous internship or administrative experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
