Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Tow Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely towing, transporting, and recovering vehicles while providing professional, courteous service to customers and partners. The ideal candidate is experienced, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining CSN’s high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer care.

  • Vehicle Transport - Safely tow, load, and transport vehicles using company-provided tow trucks and equipment.
  • Accident Scene Support - Respond to accident scenes, breakdowns, and customer calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Equipment Operation - Operate flatbed and/or wheel-lift tow trucks in accordance with provincial regulations and company safety standards.
  • Vehicle Handling - Secure vehicles properly using straps, chains, and safety devices to prevent damage during transport.
  • Documentation - Complete all required paperwork, tow slips, condition reports, and digital records accurately.
  • Customer Service - Provide clear communication, support, and reassurance to customers during stressful situations.
  • Safety Compliance - Follow all company safety procedures, provincial towing regulations, and traffic laws.
  • Vehicle & Equipment Care - Perform daily inspections, basic maintenance, and proper cleaning of tow trucks and equipment.
  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with CSN staff, insurers, and external partners to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.

Requirements

  • Valid Tow Truck Operator License (Ontario) with clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional towing experience, preferably in automotive, collision repair, or roadside assistance.
  • Experience operating flatbed and/or wheel-lift tow trucks.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle loading, securing, and transport safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe, high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
