The UX Designer + UI Developer is responsible for designing intuitive user experiences and building high-quality user interfaces for a complex, workflow-driven ERP system. This role is critical in ensuring that non-technical users such as legal, compliance, finance, and HR teams can efficiently navigate and operate within a feature-rich ERP platform. The role combines UX thinking with hands-on frontend development, making it essential for a lean, high-impact product team.
Job Description:
● Understand business workflows, user personas, and enterprise use cases.
● Design user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and information architecture.
● Simplify complex ERP workflows into intuitive and efficient user experiences.
● Convert designs into functional UI components and build responsive, scalable front-end interfaces.
● Ensure pixel-perfect implementation and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems.
● Design multi-step workflows, role-based dashboards, and data-heavy screens such as tables, reports, and forms.
● Optimize task efficiency and reduce clicks and cognitive load.
● Handle edge cases in workflows such as errors, exceptions, and escalations.
● Create and maintain design systems including colours, typography, and components.
● Ensure consistency across modules.
● Collaborate with developers to standardise UI patterns.
● Work closely with the Product Manager and Developers for feature clarity and implementation feasibility.
● Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and feature discussions.
● Design dashboards for financial data, compliance tracking, and business metrics.
● Ensure clarity in complex data representation.
● Use Gen AI as a force multiplier.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Design / Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
● 6-8 years of experience in UX design and frontend development.
● Experience in enterprise applications / ERP / SaaS platforms.
● Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design and data-heavy UI.
● Tools: Figma / Adobe XD / Sketch.
● Skills: wireframing, prototyping, user journey mapping, and information architecture.
● Strong in React / Angular / Vue, preferably React.
● Skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript, responsive design, and component-based architecture.
● Experience in building and maintaining design systems.
● Knowledge of UI frameworks such as Material UI and Tailwind.
● Experience with tables, sorting, filtering, pagination, and charts
