Senior ETL Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ETL Engineer experienced in traditional data management and extraction models using OLAP cubes to maintain and optimize existing logical models containing a fixed number of sources. As an ETL Engineer, you'll address real-world business challenges related to maintaining the ETL model and delivering information to stakeholders.

Project scope:

• Design, develop, and maintain analytical solutions, ETL processes, and data pipelines using the SSIS platform, MDX, SQL, and OLAP cubes
• Create and maintain semantic models and analytical datasets
• Develop interactive reports based on business requirements
• Optimize existing data models to ensure performance, scalability, and data accuracy
• Analyze business requirements and investigate root causes of data-related issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
• Maintain and update technical documentation, data models, and solution designs

Competence demands:

• Min. 5 years of professional experience in BI/data/SQL programming
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and OLAP cubes
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server)
• Practical experience with MDX optimization techniques
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience with Power BI, Fabric, Azure Synapse/Azure Data Lake is a plus
• Experience in consulting or working with clients is a plus
• Ability to understand business needs and propose effective technical solutions
• Good knowledge of Polish and English
