For our client, a global IT company, we are looking for an experienced SQL Database Architect to design and develop enterprise database solutions.
- Location: Madrid / Malaga, Spain
- Work model: Remote
- Start: ASAP
Your responsibilities
- Designing SQL database architectures and solutions
- Defining database standards and best practices
- Designing scalable, highly available and high-performing environments
- Reviewing existing architectures and recommending improvements
- Making technical design decisions and providing architectural guidance
- Cooperating with database, infrastructure and application teams
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with SQL databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
- Proven experience in database architecture / solution design
- Strong knowledge of HA/DR, performance, scalability and security
- Experience designing complex enterprise database environments
- Ability to lead technical discussions and make architecture decisions
- Very good English
Nice to have: PostgreSQL, Linux, database automation.
