CycloMedia captures systematic street-level imagery and lidar and turns it into measurable geospatial data. Governments and utilities use its platform to inventory assets and plan work without site visits. The company is headquartered in Zaltbommel.

We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and highly organized Senior Event Marketing Manager to take ownership of Cyclomedia’s high-impact US event marketing program. Reporting directly to the US Regional Marketing Manager, you will manage a significant event budget and be responsible for maximizing our ROI across the region.

In addition to your US focus, you will serve as the "Center of Excellence" and global discipline owner for event marketing. You will help drive process improvements, define standards, and lift the overall event capability across our European and global regions. This role is designed for a leader who can shift our approach from tactical execution to holistic campaign management, optimize our investments, and empower our Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

US Event Ownership & Campaign Management

  • Strategic Event Optimization: Take ownership of the US event portfolio and budget. Evaluate and optimize our current, overloaded event calendar into a slimmer, more targeted, and highly manageable portfolio focused on measurable ROI.

  • Full-Funnel Campaign Management: Own the full event campaign lifecycle-including pre- and post-event communications across multiple channels-to drive invitations, secure pre-booked meetings, and generate pipeline.

  • Program Leadership: Act as the primary program owner for major, high-stakes US events, keeping all stakeholders informed, energized, and organized throughout the planning process.

  • Sales Alignment & Activation: Incentivize, activate, and guide the US Sales team before and during events to ensure they stay on track to achieve specific KPI targets.

  • ROI & Closed-Loop Reporting: Rigidly close the loop on every event by defining clear goals, managing lead follow-up, tracking pipeline impact, and making data-driven recommendations for future budget allocation.

  • Logistics & Execution: Manage the full logistical lifecycle of US events, including vendor relationships, venue coordination, booth logistics, and onsite execution.

Global Discipline Ownership & Process Improvement

  • Global Event Expert: Act as the go-to person and discipline owner for event marketing globally, advising regional teams and sharing best practices to lift overall capabilities.

  • Scalable Toolkits: Empower the global Sales organization to attend local/regional events autonomously by developing standard, self-serve attendance and representation kits, reducing the need for custom support on every event.

  • Innovation: Shape the way we define event objectives and modernize how Cyclomedia organizes events globally to capture attention and maximize brand impact.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or a related B2B marketing role with a proven track record of strategic event management.

  • Experience independently managing large-scale event budgets and driving high-ROI strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to own full-funnel event campaigns, bridging the gap between physical event logistics and digital pre/post-communications.

  • A strategic mindset with the confidence to audit existing processes, push back on the business when necessary, and ensure alignment with lead generation and pipeline goals.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to act as the central orchestrator for large-scale events involving multiple internal stakeholders.

  • Experience enabling and aligning with B2B Sales teams, ideally creating scalable processes or toolkits for field teams.

  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and financial awareness.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the year to attend and support large tradeshows.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll know you’re succeeding when our US event calendar is lean, highly targeted, and directly tied to pipeline growth. Success means our major events are running as seamless, multi-channel campaigns, our global sales teams feel empowered to execute regional events using your standardized kits, and every event concludes with a rigorously closed loop of reporting, qualified leads, and clear ROI.

About Cyclomedia

Cyclomedia is a market leader in geospatial data and street-level imagery, helping organizations better understand the world around them through innovative technology, data, and AI-powered analytics.

We’re a maturing company with a strong focus on innovation, and we want to stay at the cutting edge of everything we do. That includes how we show up at events. We want to create experiences that capture attention, engage the right audiences, generate meaningful conversations, and contribute to business growth.
