Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer who can take end-to-end ownership of backend systems. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services. As part of a small team, you'll work closely with product and frontend developers to bring ideas to life quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using JavaScript (Node.js ).
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs (and GraphQL if applicable).
• Own end-to-end development: from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, frontend).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional backend development experience, ideally in a startup or small team environment.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js ) and experience with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL - e. g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and security best practices.
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with payment systems, integrations, or fintech products.
• Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging).
