Document Controller-Fit Out (BKK)

What you'll be doing

• Run the document control system for all data centre fit-out activities, including the EDMS/CDE.

• Receive, register, distribute and track incoming and outgoing project documents, transmittals and correspondence.

• Maintain accurate document, drawing and transmittal registers with full revision history.

• Control issuance of approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications and technical documents

• Ensuring superseded documents are withdrawn from use.

• Track drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs and technical queries through review, comment, approval, rejection and resubmission.

• Verify numbering, naming conventions, revision codes and metadata before submission.

• Chase overdue submissions, approvals and responses across client, consultant, contractor and supplier teams.

• Maintain registers for RFIs, submittals, material approvals, inspection requests, NCRs and other project records, and support QA/QC with inspection and quality documentation.

• Prepare weekly and monthly document control reports and support project audits.

• Compile and archive as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, certificates and handover documentation at closeout.

What you'll bring

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.

• At least 3+ years of document control experience in construction, fit-out, engineering or consultancy projects.

• Strong grasp of construction and engineering document control procedures (IFR, IFA, IFC, AFC, as-built status codes; transmittals; revision control).

• Hands-on experience with Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Procore, Asite, SharePoint or a similar document management system.

• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and follow-up; able to handle high volumes of documents under tight deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience on data centre, mission-critical, commercial or large-scale fit-out projects.
