Product Analyst

We are looking for a Product Analyst to own product requirements and execution for billing systems, SKU management, and routing logic.

This role focuses on translating complex recurring billing flows, SKU configurations, and transaction routing mechanisms into clear, structured, and implementation-ready requirements, ensuring high system reliability and minimal production issues.

You'll be working on

• 1. Product Requirement & System Logic Design
• Write structured, unambiguous PRDs covering:
• Recurring billing flows
• SKU structure and configuration
• Routing logic across channels and providers
• Define:
• Retry mechanisms
• Failure handling
• Fallback scenarios
• Edge cases (e.g., failed billing, expired SKU, routing failure)
• Ensure requirements are clear, detailed, and engineering-ready
• 2. SKU & Routing Configuration
• Define SKU attributes, eligibility, and configuration rules
• Design routing logic across multiple providers and channels
• Ensure consistency between:
• Billing intent
• Execution outcomes
• 3. End-to-End Execution Support
• Collaborate closely with:
• Engineering
• Operations
• Finance
• Business stakeholders
• Support delivery from:
• Requirement definition → Development → Launch → Monitoring
• Track progress, highlight risks, and follow through on issues
• 4. System State & Edge Case Definition
• Define system states such as:
• Active, Scheduled, Retry, Failed, Stopped, Reconciled
• Anticipate edge cases and degraded scenarios upfront
• Ensure issues are identified early (before QA or production)
• 5. Post-Launch Monitoring & Analysis
• Analyze:
• Transaction success rates
• Failure patterns
• Reconciliation gaps
• Translate insights into product improvements and iteration plans

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in:
• Product Analyst / Business Analyst / Associate Product Manager
• Experience in fintech, payments, billing systems, or transaction-based platforms is a strong plus
• Ability to write clear, structured, and logic-driven requirements (PRD, flows, rules)
• Understanding of:
• System behavior
• Edge cases
• Retry and failure handling
• Product lifecycle (discovery → delivery → iteration)
• Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops, Finance, and Business
• Basic data analysis capability (success rates, failure trends, reconciliation insights)
• Comfortable using AI tools to support daily work (documentation, structuring, analysis)
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in:
• Billing / recurring payment systems
• SKU or catalog management
• Transaction routing / payment systems
• Strong system thinking capability (flows, states, logic conditions)
• Experience working with:
• Reconciliation processes
• Financial operations workflows
• Familiarity with automation or process optimization
