The PMO Analyst supports project governance, reporting, forecasting, data quality, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across a global portfolio of Life Sciences software-as-a-service implementation projects. This internal-facing role helps establish consistent ways of working, maintain trusted project data, strengthen delivery discipline, and apply artificial intelligence tools and agents to improve Project Management Office productivity and reporting quality.
This position is located onsite in Bangalore, India and is part of the Global Professional Services team. The role will report to a Professional Services leader and partner closely with Project Managers, implementation teams, and Finance across regions and time zones.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Support the planning, coordination, tracking, and closure of multiple concurrent software-as-a-service implementation projects by maintaining accurate project plans, actions, RAID logs, milestone records, and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate project governance routines, including status reporting, meeting preparation, action and decision follow-up, milestone tracking, documentation reviews, and adherence to standard delivery processes across Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
- Maintain project and portfolio reporting by tracking delivery status, milestones, budget consumption, effort information, resourcing, utilization, risks, governance compliance, and overall delivery health.
- Support project forecasting and financial tracking by compiling and validating project inputs, monitoring variances against plan, and highlighting potential timeline, resource, billing, or revenue forecast risks for management review.
- Partner with Professional Services leaders, Project Managers, implementation teams and finance to support consistent project governance, reporting, communication and delivery coordination across global teams
- Define,maintain and analyze project health information using established metrics and reporting processes, identify trends or data gaps, and escalate delivery concerns to the appropriate project or leadership owner.
- Support PMO operations by maintaining and improving established templates, reporting methods, governance routines, audit records, and standard work, using approved AI-enabled tools and automated workflows to improve data quality and process efficiency.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 2-3 years ofexperience supporting a Project Management Office, project coordination, delivery operations, or Professional Services team in a software, technology, consulting, or similar environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools, including the ability to use tools to analyze project data, identify trends, maintain data quality, and present insights clearly.
- Working knowledge of Agile, waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies, with experience supporting governance, reporting, audit checks, or project health tracking.
- Experience using AI-enabled or automation tools to improve reporting, data quality, analysis, or administrative workflows.
- The role works with global stakeholders and may occasionally require flexibility to participate in meetings outside standard local working hours.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- A relevant project management, governance, Agile, or operational excellence certification or formal training, such as Certified Associate in Project Management, PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile or Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma
- Project management, resource planning, customer relationship management, professional services automation, reporting, or collaboration platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, NetSuite OpenAir, or Tableau
- Life Sciences software implementation or regulated delivery environments, including BioPharma, Good Practice requirements, laboratory information management systems, electronic laboratory notebooks, software-as-a-service platforms, or cloud-based informatics solutions
- Experience creating automated workflows or AI-enabled agents to support reporting, analysis, or data quality activities.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% including occasional overnight travel
