Senior VAVE Engineer - Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibility 岗位职责:

• The Mechanical engineer will work cross-functionally in supporting Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) programs including instrument system cost reduction, product design changes due to End of Life (EOL) and quality-based product enhancement for existing commercialized products.

• 机械工程师将跨部门工作支持现有产品的价值分析/价值工程项目，包括降低仪器系统的成本，由于零部件EOL导致的设计变更以及基于质量改进的工程变更。

• Identify product requirements and conduct technical investigation and feasibility study to support project metrics definition.

• 识别产品需求，开展技术调研和可行性研究，定义项目指标。

• Design components and systems modules; Conduct theoretical mechanical analysis using CAD tools.

• 运用CAD工具设计机械组件和模块，以及机械理论分析。

• Design components and subsystems in instrumentation and consumables.

• 仪器设备组件，子系统和消耗品的开发设计。

• Develop prototypes, create test plans, test specifications, and implement design verification experiments.

• 搭建样机，制定测试计划，测试规格以及设计相关验证实验。

• Transfer design to production and solve related technical issue.

• 将设计转移到生产线，并解决相关的技术问题。

• Conducts root cause investigations and Failure analyses to solve reliability and performance issues on legacy products.

• 进行根本原因调查和故障分析，以解决现有产品的可靠性和性能问题。

• Creates all required documentation to support design change verification and adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Provide technical support to production and strategy sourcing team.

• Organizes and actively participates in design reviews and project reviews.

• Works collaboratively across engineering disciplines to ensure consistency of common technologies.

Qualification任职资格:

Functional Knowledge 职能知识：

• Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

• Experience with above 3 years on precise machining process and relevant parts design. i.e. silica, ceramic, metal machining.

• Design experience in complex electro-mechanical component/module/systems.

• 具备复杂机电部件/模块/系统的设计经验。

• Rich design experience with either of sheet metal, injection parts, diecasting parts design.

• Familiar with GD&T; be capable of performing tolerance analysis.

• Skilled in 3D design tools, such as Solidworks or others

• Materials and component selection for reliability and chemical compatibility.

• 具备通过材料选择和组件设计以提高可靠性和化学兼容性的能力。

• Design for manufacturing: Ease of assembly, Cost of Goods, second sourcing.

• 具备面向制造的设计经验：易于组装，成品成本和二次采购。

• Strong sense of DFM and DFS ， knowledge and experience on DFMEA

• DFM和DFS有很强的意识, 相关DFMEA 经验。

• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills (Mandarin Chinese and English).

Preferred competencies (技能加分项 )

• Localization experience in complex electro-mechanical components.

• 具备丰富复杂机电部件如泵，阀和电机等的本地化替代工作经验。

• Experience with IVD and/or Life Science instrument systems.

• 具备体外诊断和/或生命科学相关仪器的研发经验。

• FEA analysis (CFD, Dynamics, Structural).

• 具备有限元分析经验（流体动力学，运动模型，结构分析）。

• Knowledge of instrument enclosure design for EMC/CE compliance.

• 具备机械外壳设计以确保EMC/CE符合性的相关知识。

• Familiar with ISO quality systems related to design control and product release requirements and audits.

• 熟悉与设计控制相关的ISO质量体系要求
