Lead Engineer, Product

What You’ll Be Doing

• Research, design, evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Prepare designs, specifications, analysis and recommendations for development of new enclosed drive products.
• Lead new product introdcution (NPI) to plant activities, including but not limited to:
• Collaborate with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions or provide technical information.
• Lead prodcut analysis for failure, product improvement actions and tests.
• Regular daily engineering support to plant operation, marketing, sales, production management and all other related department.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or advanced course work in areas relevant to product development is required.
• 5+ years of experience working with product design/development and technical/engineering research.
• Experience of leading new product development and technical/engineering research as Engineer role.
• Sensitivity on product and technology evolution, with strong foresight into future trends.
• Expert knowledge of design 6 sigma tools - VOC, HOQ, FMEA, SPC, DOE, DVP&R. etc, blank belt is preferred.
• Sufficient Knowledge of PMP and APQP process.
• Sufficient knowledge of quality tools - Control plan, MSA, PPAP
• Proficiency in 3D-CAD system, prefered Siemens NX.
• Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline committed environment.
