Danfoss is a Danish engineering group headquartered in Nordborg that makes mechanical and electronic components for climate solutions, power solutions and drives, including valves, compressors, heat exchangers, hydraulics and frequency converters. Founded in 1933 by Mads Clausen and still family-owned, it runs factories and engineering sites across Europe, the Americas and Asia, with large teams in Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Mexico, India, China and Slovenia. Its careers board lists quality, test and application engineers, production operators and assemblers, project and sales engineers, and student workers.

The Impact You'll Make

As our Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in protecting customer confidence and strengthening manufacturing

performance by leading quality investigations, improving process capability, and ensuring products consistently meet

customer and industry requirements.

At Danfoss, you'll have opportunities to deepen your quality expertise, influence cross-functional decisions, and develop

others in an inclusive environment that values learning, growth, well-being, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your impact? You'll help prevent recurring defects, improve process stability, reduce scrap and quarantine, and accelerate

effective responses to customer concerns and warranty issues. Your work will connect data, structured problem solving,

and quality-system discipline to better outcomes for customers and manufacturing teams.

You'll collaborate with customers, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality auditors and technicians, and new-product teams

while owning key quality activities across customer response, process validation, nonconforming product, audits, and

performance improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead customer-quality investigations and responses, including 8D problem solving, control-plan updates, return material

authorization, warranty analysis, and customer-system reporting.

  • Use statistical and structured problem-solving methods, including GR&R;, Cpk, SPC, DOE, and 5-Why analysis, to

validate processes, resolve issues, and prevent recurrence.

  • Own quality performance within the assigned area through process and system audits, nonconforming-product control,

corrective actions, and clear reporting of defects, scrap, quarantine, and improvement plans.

  • Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering on new-product introduction, process validation, deviations, engineering

changes, FMEA, control plans, APQP, and PPAP activities.

  • Promote a strong quality culture by coaching auditors and technicians, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring

alignment with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and applicable safety and environmental management systems.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or customer quality, with the ability to lead investigations, corrective actions, and

communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Practical knowledge of FMEA, control plans, MSA, SPC, statistical methods, process capability, and structured

    problem-solving tools such as 8D and 5-Why.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements, plus exposure to APQP, PPAP, audits, measuring systems, and

    customer-specific requirements.

  • English skills that support customer and cross-functional communication, combined with a proactive, analytical, and

    coaching-oriented mindset.

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about-we think they’re pretty great.
