Product Owner, Travel Mid Office Solution

Project overview

The project focuses on building a modern corporate travel operating model that connects booking platforms, fulfilment services, payment systems, and finance operations into a unified flow. It aims to enable scalable and efficient travel processes across enterprise customers.

Team

You will be working in a cross functional team that includes Solution Architects, Solution Consultants, Project Managers, and client side stakeholders from operations, finance, and product areas. The team collaborates closely through workshops, design sessions, and iterative planning cycles.

Position overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to take ownership of a complex travel mid office solution in one of the regions and lead a team of Business Analysts. In this role, you will bring structure, discipline, and strong product ownership practices to the team while ensuring the smooth delivery of both new features and operational support.

Technology stack

Jira, Confluence, BPMN tools, APIs, integration platforms, GDS systems, online booking tools, data exchange solutions

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog of feature requests and incidents.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product priorities and delivery direction.

• Bring structure, ownership, and discipline to the delivery process.

• Manage the workload of the Business Analyst team.

• Ensure smooth coordination between operational needs and product evolution.

Requirements

• Strong travel mid office expertise.

• Extensive experience with Sabre and Amadeus.

• Experience managing a product backlog and prioritization.

• Experience coordinating Business Analyst teams or similar delivery support functions.

• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability and willingness to maintain smooth, clean, and transparent processes.

• Ability to operate at a very detailed level within a highly complex solution.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Concur Compleat.

• Experience working as a travel agent.
