Senior Software Developer with Kotlin, Cloud Product

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to help build and improve backend services for a cloud based product. In this role, you will work closely with a cross functional team to deliver practical and high quality solutions for enterprise users.

Cloud Product is a large scale cloud based product designed for enterprise customers. You will work on backend capabilities and product improvements in close collaboration with cross functional stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and related technologies
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Create unit tests and participate in integration testing when needed
• Participate in performance testing when needed
• Take part in code reviews
• Contribute to solving complex technical problems with attention to performance, security, and user experience
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, implement, and support product features

• 4+ years of experience in backend development of commercial web applications using Java and or Kotlin
• Recent experience with Kotlin
• Strong understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and complexity
• Experience designing and working with APIs
• Experience building or supporting distributed and scalable systems
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, or similar tools
• Good understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java
• Upper Intermediate English or higher
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team
• Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment

• Experience with performance optimization
• Experience contributing to technical design and specifications
