Order Specialist

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Order Specialist to join our Portland-based operations team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping projects moving smoothly from sale to installation.

As an Order Specialist, you will be the critical link between our Tech Measure team, Customer Care Coordinators, and Installers - ensuring every order is placed accurately and every project stays on track. What Will You Do?

• Order Processing: Accurately order windows, patio doors, entry doors, and service parts across multiple manufacturer platforms.
• Accuracy Checks: Cross-reference orders against sold contracts to ensure every detail matches what the homeowner signed for.
• Vendor Coordination: Order, track shipping, and problem-solve with vendors as issues arise.
• Tech Measure Collaboration: Partner with the Tech Measure team to keep projects moving forward accurately and efficiently.
• Project Tracking: Coordinate acknowledgment, shipping, and installation dates, and keep product ETAs updated daily.
• Team Communication: Keep Sales, Finance, and the broader team aligned on logistics, timelines, and any ordering issues.

What are We Looking For?

• Experience: 1-3 years of order specialist or relevant office experience preferred; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new systems.
• Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust across the organization.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative: Resourceful and able to adapt to changing timelines with minimal direction.
• Background: Construction, general contracting, or interior design experience is a plus but not required.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
