Join our team as a Ruby on Rails Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon). You will design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, integrate background processing, and develop dynamic user interfaces using Next.js and React. You will participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails
• Integrate and manage background processing with Kafka and Sidekiq
• Work with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, and optimization
• Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using Next.js and React
• Write clean and maintainable HTML and CSS code
• Containerize applications using Docker for consistent development and deployment environments
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, with a focus on API development
• Experience with Next.js and React for building modern, responsive web applications
• Familiarity with Kafka and Sidekiq for background job processing
• Proficient in PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend best practices
• Experience with Docker for containerization and environment management
• Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration
• Portuguese and English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2)
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model
