Electrical Manager - ETAP

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for data center projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, data center infrastructure, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.

• Design electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and backup power systems.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Work with consultant/ EPCs for developing and reviewing designs
• Perform etap simulation and analyse reports for power system studies, load flow, ground grid/ grounding analysis, EMT, harmonic analysis, transient stability analysis, grid code compliance, load calculations, short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and coordination studies, transient analysis of EHV, MV/ LV power systems, power plants for Data centres.
• Specify and select electrical equipment and components accordingly.
• Conduct design reviews of detailed design (etap) by EPC/ consultant for multiple projects, and provide technical approval of submissions and conduct analysis/ simulation for new projects independently

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on data center projects and power systems studies with etap/ PSCAD/ power plants.
• Proficiency in electrical design software etap and others and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, SBC, IEEE, NFPA etc.).
• Experience with power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
