Location: Romania (Bucharest preferred; Timisoara, Cluj, and Sibiu are also considered)

About the Project
You will join an external engineering squad building the platform: a genomics research application for an agriculture science client.
The platform spans three phases (P1 Foundation, P2 Build, and P3 Launch) over approximately 9 months.
You will work under the direction of the client's internal Technical Lead and collaborate closely with an internal Data Scientist to integrate genomic data pipelines and deliver complex visualizations.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement a test automation framework covering frontend and backend layers.
Write and maintain integration tests forFastAPI endpoints and Snowflake data consumption.
Execute and automate load/performance tests to validate latency SLAs (P50/P90/P95 targets).
Validate MSAL authentication flows and session handling.
Coordinate and facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with the client's internal team during P3 Launch.
Raise, track, and verify defects; participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to Definition of Done criteria.
Produce test reports summarizing coverage, defect status, and performance benchmark results.
Required Skills:
E2E / UI Test Automation
Testim for end-to-end browser-based test automation.
Experience with AI-assisted or record-and-playback test authoring and maintenance.
Backend API Testing
Pytest for FastAPI endpoint validation.
Experience validating REST API responses, status codes, and JSON payloads.
Version Control
Git - ability to integrate tests into CI pipelines.
Agile
Active participation in sprint ceremonies.
Test case management within agile boards.
Nice to Have
Experience testing data-intensive or scientific/analytical applications.
Familiarity with Snowflake query validation or data pipeline output testing.
UAT facilitation experience with non-technical stakeholders.
