SDET / Test Automation Engineer - Krakow

Location: Krakow, Poland

Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days per week from the customer location in Krakow

A leading company in the financial services sector is looking for an experienced SDET / Test Automation Engineer to join a long-term project in Kraków.

We are looking for someone with strong, recent and continuous hands-on experience in test automation with Java, especially Selenium, REST Assured and Cucumber.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java

• Build and maintain BDD automation using Cucumber

• Develop automated UI tests with Selenium

• Develop automated API tests using REST Assured

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Create and execute manual and automated test cases

• Perform database testing and data validation using SQL

• Analyze application logs and troubleshoot failed automated tests

• Investigate defects and collaborate with developers and other project stakeholders

• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks

• Work with Git and build tools such as Maven/Ant

• Use tools such as Jira/Rally for defect, requirement and test management

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of relevant SDET / Test Automation experience

• Strong hands-on Java skills

• 4+ years of Selenium with Java

• 2+ years of BDD Cucumber

• 18+ months of API automation with REST Assured and Java

• 2+ years of database testing

• Strong SQL knowledge

• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB

• Experience with TestNG and/or JUnit

• Experience with Git or similar version-control tools

• Experience with Maven or Ant

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Jira, Rally or similar test/requirement management tools

• Good English communication skills
