Senior Python Developer
Work mode: Hybrid - 3 days per week from Wrocław
About the Project
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a project for our client in the financial sector. The company operates in areas including transaction processing, risk analysis, and financial data platforms.
You will be part of a team developing scalable, secure, and data-intensive backend applications supporting banking and investment-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Python
Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs and backend services
Work with large datasets and data-intensive applications
Develop solutions for financial data processing and transaction-related workflows
Optimize application performance, scalability, and resource utilization
Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and secure development
Collaborate with other developers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Must Have - Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented and functional programming
Solid experience in backend development and API design
Experience working with large datasets and data-intensive applications
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
Good understanding of application security, scalability, and performance
Experience working in a professional software development environment
Nice to Have
Experience with FastAPI or Flask
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with financial instruments, transaction processing, or banking systems
Experience with cloud-native architectures
Knowledge of automated testing and observability tools
