We are looking for an experienced Mid Java GenAI Developer with a strong Java backend engineering background and practical experience using AI-powered development tools.

Mid Java GenAI Developer
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Work Model: Hybrid - 1-3 days per week onsite

Design, develop and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications and services.
Develop REST APIs and microservices, ensuring security, reliability and performance.
Build and support distributed systems using modern architecture principles.
Work with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Contribute to system design and code reviews.
Perform troubleshooting, performance optimisation and production support.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Monitor application performance, analyse logs and perform issue triage.
Deliver high-quality code through unit testing and code-quality checks.
Use AI-powered development tools to improve development productivity.
Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Java-related technologies.
Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
Experience with REST technologies.
Strong experience with Spring, Spring MVC, JPA and Hibernate.
Experience developing secure and reliable APIs for producers and consumers.
Database experience including Oracle, MySQL and/or NoSQL.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience with Git, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins and CI/CD.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk or Humio.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
Experience developing using AI tools such as Claude, Cline or other AI development tools.
Ability to write clean, coherent and maintainable code.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Important
Candidates must be able to work hybrid in Warsaw, 1-3 days per week onsite and be comfortable completing a coding assessment as part of the recruitment process.
