THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Salesforce Solution Architect on the GTM Business Applications team, you will serve as the critical bridge between our business stakeholders and the engineering team, driving the design and execution of scalable, platform-oriented solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Your scope spans the full customer and partner lifecycle - partner registration and enablement, account and territory management, opportunity management, quotas and forecasting, quoting handoffs, and service and portal experiences.

You will own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle - from intake through solution design - and play a hands-on role in Salesforce configuration and administration across multiple clouds. This is not a traditional BA role and not a single-cloud specialist role; we are looking for a process-oriented architect who thinks at the platform level, understands how data and automation flow across clouds, and operates as a strategic partner to Sales, Channel/Partner, Service, and RevOps leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders (Sales, Channel/Partner, Service, RevOps) and the engineering team, translating business needs into actionable user stories and technical requirements

• Lead solution design sessions, working closely with Senior Engineers to define scalable, cross-cloud approaches that balance declarative configuration with platform best practices

• Own business process mapping across the customer and partner lifecycle, including:

• Partner registration, onboarding, and deal registration workflows

• Account and contact management, hierarchies, and segmentation

• Territory management and assignment logic

• Opportunity management and pipeline progression

• Sales quotas, forecasting, and target-setting processes

• Quote creation and pricing workflows in partnership with CPQ specialists

• Case management, escalations, and service processes

• Customer and partner portal experiences

• Configure and administer Salesforce Sales Cloud, including opportunity stages and pipelines, forecasting categories and quotas, account hierarchies and segmentation, territory models and assignment rules, and approval processes

• Configure and administer Salesforce Service Cloud, including case routing and queues, escalation rules, entitlements and SLAs, and knowledge management

• Design and manage Experience Cloud portals, including partner registration flows, portal user provisioning and licensing, sharing and visibility models, and content and access management for customer and partner communities

• Manage platform-level administration activities including Flow Automations, approval rules, permission sets, and the security and sharing model across clouds

• Design data models, integration touchpoints, and cross-cloud data flows in partnership with engineering, ensuring clean handoffs between Salesforce and surrounding systems (marketing automation, order management, ERP)

• Drive process governance, data quality, and reporting structures that provide pipeline, quota, and service visibility to leadership

• Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT coordination in partnership with engineering teams

• Proactively identify gaps in GTM and service processes and propose scalable Salesforce solutions to improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience

• Stay current with Salesforce release cycles, evaluate new platform features, and recommend adoption where they improve business processes

• Maintain thorough documentation of requirements, process flows, and system configurations

• Support end-user training, adoption, and knowledge transfer across internal teams and offshore resources

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 5-7 years of overall professional experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud

• Strong process orientation with a proven track record of mapping, documenting, and improving end-to-end business processes

• Hands-on experience with partner registration and PRM workflows, including partner portal setup and deal registration

• Deep functional knowledge of opportunity management, territory management, and accounts and quotas, including forecasting structures

• Working knowledge of CPQ concepts (products, pricing, approvals) and experience collaborating with CPQ specialists - CPQ expertise is not required

• Experience with Service Cloud configuration and ongoing portal management for customer and partner communities

• Proven ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams

• Experience in solution design and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations

• Proficiency in Salesforce platform administration including Flow Automations, approval rules, and security/sharing models

• Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model and integration patterns (APIs, middleware concepts) sufficient to design scalable solutions alongside engineering

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working in agile/scrum delivery environments

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• Salesforce Administrator

NICE TO HAVE

• Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Experience Cloud Consultant certifications

• Salesforce Platform App Builder certification

• Salesforce CPQ Specialist or experience working alongside CPQ solutions

• Experience supporting channel/partner programs and PRM at scale

• Exposure to managed packages such as Conga, DocuSign, or similar quoting/document generation tools

• Experience with forecasting models and pipeline analytics frameworks

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, or similar Salesforce DevOps platforms

• Experience supporting high-growth SaaS or data-driven GTM organizations
