We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test solutions used to validate printed circuit board and system quality for the Dell Storage products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new test equipment.

You will:

• Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for printed circuit board electronic equipment and other hardware systems
• Determines design approaches and parameters and analyzes equipment and test plan requirements to perform verification; conducts experimental tests and evaluates results
• Selects components based on analysis of specifications, cost, continuity of supply, and reliability. Creates and maintains required documentation including specifications
• Ensures the manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs, and designs integrate with the rest of product functions including mechanical and software
• Focus will be on designing test equipment used to validate product boards and/or systems

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical major. 5+ years working experience in test, design or manufacturing of electrical products.
• Good English communication skills, verbal and written; ability to communicate well in difficult situations.
• Ability to understand simple to highly complex hardware configurations including PC, server, and storage systems.
• Experience with hardware and software development lifecycle process.
• Will be required to support meetings across various time zones on occasion. Willingness of a flexible work schedule.

Desirable Requirements

• Understanding of high-speed single design (speed/width)
