Internship System Engineer / Intern ((AIoT / CCTV / Access Control / Smart Building)

DeltaFrontier is a Singapore-based value-added solution partner delivering AI and IoT edge technologies across Southeast Asia. The Associate System Engineer / Intern will support pre-sales and technical activities in Malaysia, assisting with customer engagement, system demonstrations, solution design, tender and proposal preparation, and project deployment coordination for AIoT, smart workspace, and physical security solutions.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with clients in Malaysia; support senior team members in understanding client requirements and aligning solutions.
• Contribute to lead generation, client presentations, and preparation of proposals demonstrating DeltaFrontier’s AIoT solutions.
• Participate in solution demonstrations and assist in showcasing product features and business value to prospects.
• Support preparation of RFx submissions and technical proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to configure and design solutions including CCTV, access control, and smart workspace solutions.
• Assist in coordinating project rollouts and liaising with clients to ensure smooth deployment and timely delivery.
• Keep updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to support sales and marketing efforts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Around 2 years of experience in pre-sales or technical support in AIoT, smart workspace, physical security systems, or related IT/engineering fields. Fresh graduates or final-year students (internship) are also welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, BMS, DCIM, PMS, or digital transformation technologies is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact confidently with customers and internal teams.
• Keen interest in building customer relationships and providing business-value solutions.
• Proactive and analytical with problem-solving ability and willingness to take ownership with guidance from senior staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field preferred; diploma holders with relevant experience are welcome. 
• Ideal for IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related students interested in CCTV, access control, IoT and smart building technology.
