We are the tech company behind the media and sporting moments that matter.
Over four decades, Deltatre has grown to employ more than 1,000 experts worldwide.
We're trusted by the biggest broadcasters, telcos, media companies, sport governing bodies, leagues, and federations.
Our products, innovation, dependability, and people continue to redefine how the value of live and on-demand sport, film, TV, and news content is maximized across streaming, digital, data, graphics, officiating, and through marketplace strategy and growth services.
Posizione
This role is offered on an Italian employment contract. Candidates must be based in Italy as we are unable to support remote working from outside the country due to local employment and tax legislation.
Our Digital Production & Content Operations team works with rights holders, broadcasters, entertainment brands, and streaming platforms to run their digital properties across web, mobile, and OTT. Sometimes we extend a client's in-house team, sometimes we manage their content end-to-end. Either way, the job is the same: content that goes live on time, accurately, and at the pace live sports and entertainment demand, especially during matchdays, tournaments, seasonal launches, and live events.
As Digital Producer, you will run day-to-day content operations on FORGE, our CMS product, for one or more clients. You'll publish and organize content, configure pages and modules, train and support client editorial teams, and check that everything works in staging before it reaches fans. You'll be the person client content and platform teams rely on to turn editorial intent into a working, well-organized digital product.
Responsibilities
Content operations
- Publish multilingual content in FORGE across match centers, news sections, event hubs, cast and episode pages, and on-platform promotional modules.
- Apply metadata, tagging structures, and layouts that support sports statistics, live event experiences, entertainment catalogs, and VOD discovery.
- Create, adapt, and upload supporting visual assets such as match thumbnails, show artwork, and promo banners.
- Schedule and coordinate content updates against editorial calendars, matchdays, release schedules, marketing activations, and live coverage.
Platform management (FORGE)
- Act as the FORGE subject matter expert for your clients, configuring pages, modules, and sections for competitions, teams, events, shows, channels, and seasonal hubs.
- Manage user access, permissions, and asset-level rights across multi-tenant organizations, rights-restricted content, and editorial hierarchies.
Training and client support
- Run FORGE training sessions for client power users, editorial teams, producers, and digital operations staff.
- Provide day-to-day support through agreed communication channels.
- Track recurring user queries and turn them into reference and best-practice guides that speed up onboarding and reduce support load.
Quality assurance and launch support
- Carry out weekly QA in staging environments, validating data accuracy (fixtures, results, standings), navigation, content layouts, player and show pages, and platform components.
- Support the launch of new websites, sections, features, competitions, and seasonal updates, working closely with editorial, technical, product, and client teams.
Requisiti
This is the experience that will help you hit the ground running.
Required
- 2+ years' experience in a digital production, content operations, or web editorial role, publishing content through a CMS.
- Hands-on experience configuring pages, modules, or sections in an enterprise or headless CMS.
- Experience applying metadata and tagging structures to make content discoverable.
- Experience creating or adapting visual assets for digital platforms, using tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Figma.
- Experience running pre-release checks in a staging environment, covering data accuracy, layout, and navigation.
- Experience managing user roles and permissions on a content platform.
- Experience training or supporting non-technical users on a digital tool.
- Experience writing user-facing documentation, such as how-to guides or FAQs.
- Experience delivering content against fixed deadlines and editorial calendars.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, in line with the live sports and events calendar.
Valued
- Experience publishing sports or entertainment content, such as match centers, live statistics, or VOD catalogs.
- Working knowledge of additional languages for multilingual publishing.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with digital rights management or multi-tenant platform permissions.
- Experience logging and tracking issues in a ticketing tool such as Jira.
Who Thrives Here
This is an operational role with a client-facing edge. Your week mixes hands-on publishing, platform configuration, QA, and training, and the rhythm follows the client's calendar: quiet stretches, then matchdays, tournaments, and launches where accuracy under time pressure matters most. Evening and weekend work is part of the role, because that's when matches and live events happen. You'll work across editorial, technical, product, and client teams, so a lot of the job is translating between them.
People who do well here check their own work before anyone else has to, spot the same question coming up twice and write the guide so it doesn't come up a third time, and explain a platform to a busy editor in terms that make sense to them. They work well with colleagues from different backgrounds and languages, and they ask for help early when a deadline is at risk.
