The Commerce Strategy team exists to help clients understand where and how to win in modern commerce. We combine industryexpertise, retailer understanding, audience insights, retail mediaknowledgeand strategic thinking to build actionable commerce strategies that unlock measurable business outcomes.
As part of a rapidly growing capability, the team plays a critical role in helping some of the world's leading brands navigate commerce transformation across retail media, ecommerce, omnichannel and digital shelf opportunities.

Role Purpose
The Commerce Strategy Associate supports the development and delivery of commerce strategy projects by providing high-quality research,analysisand project support. Working closelywith Commerce Directors and Managers, the Associate will help transform data, industry trends and market intelligence into actionable insights that inform client recommendations.
Reports To: Commerce Strategy-Senior Manager
Key Objective: Support the delivery of commerce strategy projects through insightful analysis,accuratereportingand strong project coordination, helpingidentifygrowthopportunities forclientsacross retail media, ecommerce and omnichannel commerce.
This Will Be Achieved By
Developing a strong understanding of the commerce, retailmediaand ecommerce landscape.
Conducting research,benchmarkingand competitor analysis to support strategic recommendations.
Producingaccurateand high-quality analytical outputs.
Supporting the development of client presentations and deliverables.
Maintaining project documentation and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contributing positively to team culture.
Continuously developing commerce,categoryand retailer knowledge.
Client Focus
Support the development of client deliverables and presentations.
Assistwith market research, retaileranalysisand competitor assessments.
Support ongoing client projects through effective project management and coordination.
Strategy & Planning Focus
Conduct commerce audits, competitorreviewsand market research.
Gather,organiseand analyse retailer,categoryand consumer data.
Develop an understanding of commerce strategy methodologies and planning frameworks.
Insight & Data-Led Thinking
Analyse performance,retailerand market data toidentifykey findings.
Support the development of insight-driven presentations and reports.
Monitor developments across retail media, ecommerceplatformsand the wider commerce landscape.
Essential Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiencyin PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to organise and manage multipletasks.
Curiosity and willingness to learn.
Interest in commerce, retail,ecommerceand consumer behaviour.
Desired Experience
1-2 years' experience in media, marketing, ecommerce, retail, analytics, or a related field.
Experience conducting research,analysisand insight generation.
Familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel.
Understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce or retail media isadvantageous.
Experience supporting projects in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in data, strategy and commercial problem solving.
