JOB PURPOSE
This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include EasyJet, eBay, INEOS, Logitech, L’Oréal, Roblox, Walkers and Zalando.
This position is based in Hungary, working remotely. Fluent English is essential, and you'll need to work hours that align closely with the UK team, 10:30am - 7pm (CET).
This is a video editing role - around 90% of the work is editing, with the remaining 10% bringing in motion design support. You will be shaping raw travel-focussed footage into engaging long-form content, typically 3-5 minutes, that holds an audience's attention from start to finish. Motion design is part of your toolkit, used to add energy, clarity, and personality to the edit rather than carrying the piece on its own.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take raw and travel footage and shape it into engaging long-form content, typically 3-5 minutes, that keeps audiences watching
- Find the story within the footage, build a clear narrative arc, and balance personality, information, and entertainment
- Apply a strong instinct for pacing and structure across every edit
- Bring stories to life through editing, sound, music, typography, and motion graphics
- Use motion design to add energy, clarity, and personality to edits, without relying on motion for the whole piece
- Work confidently within established brand systems, applying a strong graphic design eye
- Independently own video projects from raw footage and initial brief through to final delivery
- Make strong editorial decisions - what to cut, what to keep, and where a story needs more energy or breathing room
- Present your thinking clearly, respond to internal and client feedback, and guide the quality of the work throughout production
WHAT YOU BRING
ESSENTIAL:
- Solid experience as a Video Editor, with motion design skills
- Outstanding showreel and/or portfolio with examples of Social Video Edits
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro essential; After Effects for motion)
- Colour grading within Premiere Pro or DaVinci is a strong strong plus
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Ability to work hours aligned with the UK time zone (10:30am - 7pm)
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team amongst graphic and motion designers, creatives, and strategists
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with the team and clients
- Clear and fast in communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- A love for learning new things and exploring new formats
