That's why were partnering with a leading global organization in the chemical and manufacturing industry to find an Inventory Accountant for their growing Shared Service Center.
About the role:
As an Inventory Accountant, you will manage end-to-end inventory accounting for assigned entities within the SSC, ensuring accurate IFRS/statutory accounting, product costing, inventory valuation (FIFO/LCM), GR/IR management, and adjustments, while meeting SLAs, internal controls, and closing timelines to support efficient processes and high-quality financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end inventory accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
- Reconcile GR/IR, resolve discrepancies, and support product costing.
- Execute internal controls, ensure compliance, and support audits.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Strong SAP (CO, MM, FI, material ledger, GR/IR, costing), Excel, and analytical skills.
- Support process improvements, SSC optimization, and global accounting policies
Who We're Looking For:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience in Inventory/Cost Accounting and SAP.
Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, statutory reporting, and inventory controls.
Fluent English plus one additional language (German, French, or Spanish).
