Senior Engineering Manager - AI

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager - AI Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and rollout of enterprise-grade AI solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in modern AI systems along with excellent stakeholder management and business communication skills.

This role involves working closely with business teams to transform traditional workflows using AI-powered solutions and collaborating with external AI ecosystem partners for the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AI engineering initiatives focused on enterprise automation and intelligent workflows.
• Drive implementation of AI/LLM-powered applications using modern AI architectures and frameworks.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and roll out AI use cases.
• Design and manage scalable AI systems, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
• Define best practices for prompt engineering, model evaluation, observability, and tracing.
• Partner with external AI vendors and ecosystem partners for integrations and innovation initiatives.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive technical excellence across AI programs.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, governance, and performance of deployed AI systems.

The core requirements for the job include the following:

AI Engineering and LLM Expertise:

• Strong understanding of: LLM Integration, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Prompt Engineering, AI Evaluation Frameworks / Eval Processes, Agentic AI Architectures, AI System Observability and Tracing.

Frameworks and Tools:

• Hands-on experience with at least one AI orchestration framework: LangGraph, LangChain, and similar agentic AI frameworks.

Technical Skills:

• Strong backend/system design fundamentals.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of the AI deployment lifecycle and production AI systems.

Business and Communication:

• Excellent stakeholder management and business communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with leadership and business teams for AI adoption initiatives.
• Strong ownership mindset and execution-driven attitude.

Partner Ecosystem Experience:

• Experience working with AI ecosystem partners/platforms such as: ElevenLabs, Decagon, and other conversational AI / agentic AI solution providers.
