We are looking for an IT Team Leader based in Diegem, Belgium. The purpose of the role is people leadership and development, and team enablement:

• Set a clear direction for the team, articulating a compelling vision that inspires and aligns team efforts with organizational strategy
• Ensure effective information flow, developing a safe space for open dialogue within the team and with stakeholders
• Develop an environment where team members feel engaged, valued, and empowered to contribute their skills and ideas
• Enable the team for success and sustainability, offering guidance and support through challenges
• Define and realize knowledge development plans to evolve individuals and team skills and knowledge, to enable meeting continuously evolving business needs and personal growth
• Be a Role Model, demonstrating ownership, personal leadership and accountability mindset
• Contribute to the department’s leadership and evolution as a member of the department’s Leadership Team

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

• Enable a team of Software Solution Engineers to be future-fit and become the supplier of choice for digital solutions
• Provide leadership, direction, mentorship and coaching to team members, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
• Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance providing constructive feedback and development opportunities to enhance skills, engagement and overall effectiveness.
• Acting as a liaison between the team, stakeholders and the Leadership Team, ensuring clear and effective communication of expectations, updates and feedback.
• Addressing and resolving issues/conflicts within the team, as well as finding solutions to obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
• Support the development and execution of strategies that improve team effectiveness, encourage self-organization, and enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
• Overseeing the planning, execution and completion of projects, while ensuring quality and timely delivery from the abilities and craftsmanship perspective, while also fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent due to practical experience acquired through work as a leader/manager.
• Demonstrated ability to grow and adapt in a dynamic environment, continuously improving.
• Willingness to contribute to the team’s growth by sharing knowledge, collaborating, and co-creating ways of working.
• Curiosity and commitment to staying up to date with emerging technologies, people and team enablement practices, and business goals.
