Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, Python, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights, developing interactive dashboards, automating reporting processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify business trends and actionable insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Build and optimize data models, DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using Python and SQL.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Conduct data validation, quality checks, and ensure data accuracy across reports.
• Create visualizations and executive dashboards for business performance tracking.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and analytical methodologies.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Strong SQL skills including Joins, CTEs, Window Functions, and Stored Procedures
• Experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Good understanding of ETL processes and data transformation
• Experience in dashboard development, KPI reporting, and business intelligence solutions
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup Functions)
• Understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks)
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and predictive analytics
• Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools
• Exposure to cloud-based data warehousing solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, Data Analytics, or Python are preferred.
