Technical Lead -AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Description:
Intermediate/advanced level (4+ years of experience in cloud engineering)Strong, demonstrated experience with the AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK)
Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash or similar)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana)
Able to navigate a complex, multi-service AWS environment confidently
Proactive, strong problem-solving skills, good communicator
Experience with data product teams and working closely with data engineers, data scientists, or similar roles
Willingness to contribute to workstreams beyond cloud engineering, e.g. development of data pipelines
Experience with the CAP platform (VW-specific) is a plus.
