Currently, around 4,000 employees are working at CARIAD on the digital transformation of the car. CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. At the core of CARIAD is the development of the unified and scalable software and technology platform E³ 2.0 for all Group brands. E³ stands for ‘end to end electronics architecture’. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. As of 2026, E³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment.

About our Group

CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

Job Description TX-SD Security Technologies Support:

Function Owner Support in Vehicle Key Management System (VKMS)

Responsibilities:

Key tasks:

SecTechCoordinatorsupport in Vehicle Key Management System (VKMS)

• Assist in reviewing security concepts and QLAH compliance.
• Align with Function Owners on cross functional Specification (QLAH requirements).
• Support SecOwners with requirement clarification and supplier coordination.
• Support in Test specification, clarification with Test House
• Assist in test implementation acceptance and defect discussions.
• Help define test scope and support evaluation phases.
• Report on security technology status in project meetings.

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of Autosar(Classic & Adaptive) Concepts especially Diagnostics
• Deep understanding of Security lifecycle management (generation, distribution, storage, rotation, revocation) in automotive environments.
• Basic understanding of the cryptographic key life cycle
• Basic understanding of Secure storage (HSM(Hardware security module), TEE (Trusted Execution environment)
• Experience with secure key provisioning and integration with embedded ECUs.
• Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434 and OEM-specific key management requirements.
• Ability to analyze and validate key management protocols and their implementation in vehicle networks.

Competencies & Skills

• Profound knowledge of embedded security technologies, secure communication, and automotive standards.
• Experience with test management, requirements management platforms (e.g., CodeBeamer, DOORS, JIRA, KPM).
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting test data and deriving technical maturity grades.
• Effective communication and coordination with suppliers, test houses, and internal teams.
• Organisational skills for cross-brand process alignment and documentation management.
• Experience in software development for security technologies and ownership of secure software workflows.
