Senior Software Engineer I - Frontend

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer I with strong frontend engineering expertise and a passion for building high-performance, scalable, and maintainable web applications. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of core website functionality. You will work extensively with TypeScript, JavaScript, modern JavaScript frameworks, and server-side templating while building solutions in a multi-region cloud environment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA, operations, and engineering teams while taking ownership of deliverables and contributing to technical decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support core website functionality.
• Build and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Work with server-side templating technologies in a multi-region cloud environment.
• Contribute to building scalable, performant, maintainable, and testable software.
• Participate in Agile development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Take ownership of engineering deliverables and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Mentor engineers within the squad and help improve their technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate technical decisions and present practical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Frontend Development: Strong understanding of frontend web development technologies and principles. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks; knowledge of server-side templating.
• Build Tools: Experience with modern build tools such as Vite, esbuild, or Webpack.
• CSS Technologies: Experience with CSS Modules, Tailwind CSS, Sass, or CSS-in-JS.
• Testing: Experience writing automated tests and unit tests to ensure software quality.
• Engineering Practices: Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban. Understanding of software design, development, testing, and deployment practices.
