Description

State Bar of Wisconsin is seeking an Infrastructure and Network Engineer (hybrid position)

The State Bar of Wisconsin is in search of an experienced Infrastructure and Network Engineer to support and maintain our network, servers, virtualization environment, Microsoft 365 services, and cybersecurity infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-starter who can complete projects and tasks with little day-to-day direction. We are looking for someone who will thrive in a small IT shop, loves to learn, and will take ownership and get it done. This person will also value excellent customer service and collaboration equally with technical elegance and skill.

*Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Who We Are

The State Bar of Wisconsin is a professional association, created by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, for all attorneys who hold a Wisconsin law license. With more than 25,000 members, the State Bar exists to serve its members and the public by promoting the law and access to justice. We aid the courts in improving the administration of justice, provide continuing legal education and other services for our members, support the education of law students, and educate the public about the legal system. The State Bar of Wisconsin also provides public services -- such as attorney referrals and public education - and supports programs that provide reduced-fee legal assistance for low-income state residents.

  • Working with a mission-driven organization that acts with integrity, promotes justice, and works toward a fair and just legal system.
  • Variety in your job! You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and tools to lay the foundation for the future.
  • Working with a collaborative, small IT team where you will be challenged and have autonomy to make impactful decisions. No two days will be the same and you will thrive in a dynamic, changing environment.

What You Will Do

  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery systems and testing.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for escalated infrastructure, network, authentication, and security issues.
  • Maintain network diagrams, system documentation, configurations, and technical procedures.
  • Participate in infrastructure, cloud, networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.
