Quality Assurance Engineer

Based in downtown Cairo at the Greek Campus you will play a key role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards. Your work will contribute to our mission of integrating cash-based workers into the mainstream financial system while enhancing user satisfaction with our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans test cases and test scripts based on feature specifications and user stories.
• Identify record and track bugs using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to improve software quality throughout the development process.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure robustness performance and reliability of applications.
• Review and analyze system specifications as well as conduct peer reviews of testing documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing practices and processes.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG).
• Proficient in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality software.
