We currently have an opportunity for a Coordinator - CAR & Compliance Resolution. Join our team and play a key role in monitoring of internal and external compliance with Contractual, Company and Statutory requirements, aimed at providing world class quality assurance service with focus on efficient resolution of compliance issues. Reporting to Quality Team Lead, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Under direction of the Senior Coordinator - CAR & Compliance Resolution, the Coordinator - CAR & Compliance Resolution is responsible for issuing Corrective Action Requests (CARs) raised by Compliance Inspectors and for raising and issuing CARs based on Kāinga Ora’s audit findings using the Work Management System Business Improvement Form (WMS-BIF) process and implement BIF resolution processes aimed at acceptable, effective and timely resolution of CARs (BIFs) issued to the Service Delivery Partners (SDPs) and Works Supervisors.

What You’ll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Raise and issue CARs (BIFs) based on Kāinga Ora audit findings and liaise with Kāinga Ora representatives as and when required.

  • Issue CARs (BIFs) raised by the Compliance Inspectors and liaise with them as and when required.

  • Liaise with SDPs and Works Supervisors to ensure compliance issues are resolved satisfactorily and within the specified timeframes.

  • Follow established CAR (BIF) processes to ensure that quality / invoicing issues are resolved within the timeframes required to achieve CAR (BIF) related monthly KPI scores consistently at Performance Level 5.

  • Microsoft Excel Intermediate level Knowledge

  • Analysis and problem-solving ability

  • Proven ability to prepare reports and gather/maintain/analyse data.

  • Use of smart IT solutions and Apps

  • Quality assurance and inspection experience within the building industry.

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously

  • Ability to develop, build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders

  • Formal qualifications in a related discipline (Building trades background would be advantageous).
